I'm inventorying my fnls knives. What handle material is on this one? I think it's bone.

I'm fairly sure thats antler of some kind, probably elk.

I believe that it was a special projects knife made for Bass Pro shops a few years ago. Could you show a picture of the other side?

I believe that is elk...not to be confused with european stag.

A Hot pin will confirm if animal or mineral. And also if bone or horn. Horn smells of burnt hair.

Bones are typically smooth unless they are jigged. Horn/stag has that rough, bumpy look.
