This was a forced blood patina. I was wanting a forced patina but the ones I had in the past were very blotchy I did not care for it. I could not catch all the rainbow colors that are exhibited in the patina, but I think the pic shows the uniformity.

You can get an even patina with hot vinegar, but it's not the same. Kinda reminds me of a fc etch on ss, but you probably already know that.

I wonder if blood has the same effect as cooked pork. My favorite is a multi colored patina that I got from cutting up sausages. It's really pretty to me, but doesn't exhibit the even effect that yours has.

I used hot vinegar on my Mora, while it did give similar results it was still not as uniform as the above. I will try to get some close ups. My camera is not much, but I will try later on.
