Pic of my first Damascus knife..

Wow! It's nice to know we've got world class makers on this board. Awesome job on the logo and the handle shape is sweet. :)

Trace, that is just stunning. Even without the damascus it would be a beautiful knife but add the steel and you really have something.

Beautiful steel and workmanship! Great finish on the damascus and crisp logo. Logos are generally a pain on damascus

I never thought that damascus and carbon fiber could live together in peace. However, I got the chance to look this knife over in my shop one afternoon. I was totally surprized at how well the two worked on this knife. It also has a nice Kydex sheath to finish it off. All in all a great piece.

CF looks so industrial normally, but this handle shape looks almost organic. Fantastic blend of style and texture (pattern). Nice job!!

Very nice, that bird's head handle style is a favorite.
Thanks for sharing.

Trace, that's beautiful. What's its overall length? You mosaic pins are great too, this is a sweet knife. Very nice logo!

Coming from all you guys it means alot..
That is Devin Thomas high contrast, serpentine ladder. I believe its 1095 and nickel, it was heat treated by my good buddy Rob Simonich.
That stuff looks phenominal in person, down the spine are wavy serpentine-like lines, and it almost looks jeweled in the light.. The Carbon Fiber is 1/4" stuff I get from Gordon Piszar, he says its trimmed-off excesss from F-18 wings. All I know is it also looks amazing, and plays with the light real well too.. I felt so stupid holding it up to the light looking at it from all different angles for long periods of time, my wife assured me it looked as dumb as I thought.. I dont often get the urge to run around and play show and tell but this one made me want to..HA! If you guys have never tried a piece of this stuff, do it!

Overall length is 9", 4.5" blade Dave.
Great Job on that new Baby too Jerry!!!

Glad you guys liked it.

Take Care
