I will never get rid of this one. I don't know if you can see it but the heat treat on this Pen knife is perfect. This knife is so pretty! Picture totally does not do it justice.

One of the recent horn Villager pen knives? I have one of those that is a great little cutter. Haven't etched it though. Good pic.

yeap...... its a Bura. I have been burnishing the edge for the last 10 mins or so. Everybody should have a knife this sharp once in a life time.

I was thinking a pen knife might be nice to have, but after throwing my money at Norm's GRS I don't think I can afford one for a while. Yours looks real nice!

What's the handle size on those things?

Nope Norm this was a regular pen knife with a wood handle. I rubbed the blade out with 600 grit wet/dry and etched it a bit with lemon juice. Then brought it to a dull satin glow with my fingers dipped in JB bore scrub and oil.

Used a diamond oval shaped rod to reprofile the edge, then a series of ceramic rods to polish the edge. Finally I burnished the edge with the shaft of a high quality screw driver. Much better than the burnisher that comes with the knife. Hair jumps away from the entire length of the blade.

Like I said the picture does not do it justice.

nope. can't say that I do...

:p :D :p

Blackwood handle, etched (or blued) blade and kydex sheath....would make a heckuva Tactical Khukuri package.
