Photobucket gets two big fat thumbs down from me. I have imagr but haven't figured out how to use it yet.

I'd definitely be in for a LG black linen micarta Inkosi Insingo!

I thought you might come around once you tried one Alex! They make great no-nonsense work knife, yet still have the appeal that us knife nuts enjoy.

Magical self locking pivot that's never too tight or loose, fantastic rock solid lockup and 99.9 percent of the time perfectly centered when closed.

Just testing imgur... a nice member gave me a crash course.

Remove the "s" in https
Add .jpg at the end of the string
{IMG}resultingaddress after modification{/IMG} Change the { }to [ ] on corresponding sides

I'm not sure why I'm having so much trouble. Haha

I don't have the cloud icon with all the share links that are typical of these sites.

Is it because I'm using my phone? Also how do you post pictures to Imagr that you'd like to share on BF, but not be public on their site?

Haha I posted a pic with 4 knives and got some odd comments.

I have never really used IMGUR before..I think I have an acct there,..just haven't bothered to learn it yet.
Not sure how to set pics private/public there.
The previous 2 pics that I posted are yours...or am I misunderstanding?

Yes they're mine I tried following your directions with no success.

I'm not having trouble getting them on imgur, just getting the share links so they show up as pics.

Sorry Alex, didn't mean to jack up your thread. Possibly we can delete some of this rubbish.
 
I use Imgur. I upload all my pictures in private mode. Generally I need to resize them in Imgur to 800x600 so they fit here well and don't cause you to scroll left/right to see the entire image. When viewing a pic in Imgur, there is a link you can copy - the BBCode. Just cut and paste that link here where you type.
 
So I can get the picture to upload but when I try to share it is only get this icon.

For sharing through text and email.
 
Cute kid. I spent the morning sledding with my 3 and 4 year old girls. Hit some serious jumps and had a nice snow ball fight. Best morning ever.
 
Thanks, ya we had a blast playing in the snow today. Lots of sledding and we went for a good walk too.
 
Its so funny. Today I opened this new set of cars they got for christmas. And my little one couldnt get the tape of so of course she asks " take out your pocket knife daddy". They know that I always have some piece of gear on me at all times to take care of business. Its hilarious coming from a three year old. She is the one that like making fires, eating bacon and building things. My 4 year old is more reserved and would rather observe and do her own thing. Its amazing how intelligent and capable they are at such a young age.
 
Absolutely, it's so neat watching my son learning new things every day. He already knows way more types of dinosaurs than I do.

So I deleted my Imgur account and I'm going to try to start fresh. I have a feeling the app wasn't working the way it was supposed to.

I cannot delete per the owners directive..

I will keep this for a few days. I think that it will be helpful in the short term.. After that I will move it to the back end.


If you purely use a phone to upload and share, I am not sure how to help..but we have a smart bunch here. Perhaps someone else can chime in :)
 
A Flickr account is pretty simple, uploading photos from your phone to Flickr is easy and fast. After the image is uploaded, you just choose the size of the image, copy the BBcode link, and paste it in your post. You need a Yahoo email account.

I found a YouTube video with android instructions, however the one that I had didn't have the cloud icon in the top right corner.

Maybe it's my phone (Samsung S5 neo).

I'm not sure but I'm going to try Flickr. I spent way too much time and energy on Imgur. Haha it shouldn't be that difficult.
 
Seem to have the same issue with Flickr.


The BB Code link seems to be the issue. Nowhere to be found on either picture sharing apps.

Must be a "me" issue.

My Imgur account went all strange on me too...

Just use a 3rd party host (I am using IPicit.net)
You have to deal with adds, but at least it's realiable.

Upload from your pic. library.
Choose your image size.
Cut and paste the link anywhere in your post.
Add
to the end.
 
I upload all my pics from my phone directly to imgur then post here. I don't use the app tho and just go to the imgur.com.

Uploaded from my phones camera roll, select "BB Code" from the link options, then copy that into a post. If I click on the picture copy the URL and try to put it into "[ IMG ][ /IMG ]" it doesn't work. I have to copy the provided BB code.

So I opened imgur from my browser and didn't use the app and it worked I think. Kind of tough to "grab" the link to copy and paste.

Kinda strange
