pic question

hey guys i took some pics of some knives and can not get them to upload to my post. i sent them from my pc to photo bucket and then resized them. then when i try to upload them to my post it says invalid file. i cannot figure out how to resize them in windows and i dont uderstand the invalid file when i try it from photo bucket. any help i would appreciate.:confused:
 
you're trying to do two things. Now that you have uploaded to photobucket, all you need to do is put the url of the image in between tags and the pic will show up in your post.

If you want to upload to BF, forget about the photobucket urls. That is, when on BF, select the picture from its location on your PC, it will have nothing to do with photobucket.
 
Go back to photobucket and you'll see they give you several different kinds of code. Copy the IMG code and paste it into your post. :thumbup:
 
"invalid file" sometimes means that when you saved them...you did so without naming an extension......jpg, gif, bmp, etc.

Can you double-check the file?


Gold membership means you can upload directly to a post from your PC...no need to involve photobucket or similar...


If you just need images resized - email them to me an I'll do it for you...then you can post them.
