Does anyone have a picture of a alpha folder with a 110. The alpha and dorado have both sparked my intrest lately. Havent seen either in person. Also seems like ever where I look different info on the steels? Bp says ats-34 most say 12c27????

Nevermind guys. Thanks anyway. I went scrolling through the picture thread and found a couple. Larger knife than I realized.

Ok, glad you got it worked out. The Alpha Hunter has been offered in many different steels. DM

I know that you said it wasn't required any more but in case someone is curious here is a picture.

Wow. Seeing them side by each helps me anyhow.

Those large Alphas look like a big handful of frame. And I thought the 110 was a big knife.

Both the Kalinga and the Alpha are very smooth opening knives. Both can be flipped open very easy. I have three Alphas (two rubber and one wood scales). Glad you enjoy the picture.

Just a tip on the Alphas.
You may want to pull the scales off and check the frames.
You may need to remove a bit of rust or corrosion.
I gave my rosewood handles a coat or two of Tru-Oil, both top and bottom.
Mine wasn't bad, but there was some very slight frame pitting.
Not a problem of any sort. Just fyi

You might want to do some blue locktite on the screw threads.

I really like the way those alpha and the dolrado looks. But, I'm really having a hard time thinking of putting the 110 by the wayside and carrying one of those.Time will tell.

Wouldn't ever put a 110 away.

Depending on what you might be doing as to what you carry.

Note that all the alpha sheaths are both vertical and horizontal carry. Sort of disappear in horizontal position unless right over the top of a pocket.
