I've been flirting with ideas of my next Randall shop order. And I want a better idea of the size of the 12-9 with the 14 grind. If someone could put one next to a familiar model and take a picture of it I would appreciate it. (preferably a model 1 or 14)

Also if you own this one, what handle option did you get, and how does it feel with this large knife?

thank you for your time.

Ron, what blade length are you looking for on the Comparison Model #1?

Also, if I went with the brass hilt, the end cap would be matching - same for nickel-silver. The added end cap weight helps offset the heavy blade, thus making the knife more evenly balanced and seemingly lighter in the hand...

A 7", or an 8" would be best for me. Thank you.

I kind of like the idea of a commando style handle on this one. And i have been feeling partial to the the nickel silver hardware, but depending on what material i decide on brass may offset it better.

You gents here gave me some kind disorder from hanging out here. I can't stop pondering the combinations.

Whoops, posted 'em in the wrong thread...lol

The software won't let me post the same pics twice, so check out the 'do we need a pic here' thread... ;)

Nothing but the dreaded 'Red X' showing on this end CnR...

Ron, not a comparison, but a few #12-9 '14 grind' RMK's I've owned...

Steve, I rebooted my PC, but still 'no go' If others don't see em either, email me the photos and I'll put 'em up. In the mean time, ya might want to check your photo names to make sure there isn't something extra or left off...

Suhweet! Although, that bottom one looks kinda defective - as in, the 'S' is in the wrong place! ;)

Yeah, what a shame. I'd still give him a couple hundred for it anyway, though.:D

Neither of the photos are mine :D

Thank you, Samael, for displaying the picture of my knives. I don't yet understand what went wrong, or why I couldn't seem to get the .jpg to appear.

As far as the canyon picture and comments about Arizona, ARIZONA IS A GREAT PLACE TO BE! I've lived here for 30 years, and love it. Checking the temperature now (around 6:00 o'clock in the evening), I see that the it has already dropped to only a few degrees above 100. Not bad, considering that our record from a few years ago was 122!
