I am considering something like this for a future custom project order and I need to get an idea of the different blade shapes and grind options.
-I know I don't want an HI or other "traditional" Khukuri with the polish, wooden sheath, extra mini-knife thing, or the notch at the rear of the cutting edge, and certainly not the bone or wood handles
- G10 or micarta will likely be my handle material of choice
-the steel will probably be 1095 or 5160
-It will be full-tang
-It will have a blade shape similar to the CS Ghurka Kukri, as I really like the Ghurka Kukri but not the handle so much
-The blade will be over 10" but less than 15"
-The sheath will be kydex and drop-leg style
Beyond this, I need ideas and inspiration. Post pics if you have them!
