Hello all,
I was wondering if anyone had a picture of both of these knives?
I just got back into collecting/using and I picked up a 555(sheepsfoot mini grip) and an osborne 960.
I like them both, but the blade geometry of the 555 leaves a bit to be desired for me.
Also if anyone has any direct comparison input for me, I would really appreciate it!
Thanks!
David

I found that the Ritter fills the hand a little better. The fact that your thumb sits on the jimping on the blade makes the knife feel bigger in the hand.
The Ritter is also easier to open. You can see from the pic of the closed knives that you can get more thumb behind the Ritter's studs.

I sold my 707, which was in 154CM steel. I'll never sell my Ritter(s).

Hope this helps,
Steve

I also prefer the Ritter grip. I have several dozen knives sitting around the one in pocket since I got it has been my Ritter minigrip (on weekends I may also have my XM-18). The handle shape is almost perfect. Steven

Thanks for the replies!
Steven,
Those pictures are exactly what I wanted!
I am torn, so in the fashion of advice I would get on many forums I think I will have to get both. Which one first is the question.... :)
