I'm looking to see how large an Al Mar SERE 2000 is when compared to other knives.

If someone can supply a picture of a SERE 2000 and any of the knives below I'd be grateful. I've owned the knives below so I can compare.

BM Griptilian
BM Mini-Griptilian
Spec Bump
Buck 110
HK 14210
BM 910
BM 940
BM 880

Thanks! :)

Thanks korbiaka!

If anyone else has any better pics of a SERE with something in my list that would be fantastic.

:D

These aren't on your list, but I don't think my picture can hurt...

... hope it helps at least a little.

Thanks Hair.

Is that Sebenza a large or small? I'm thinking it's a large.

Also, is that a full size Manix?

You're welcome.

Yep, that is a Large Sebenza and a full-size Skirmish. Also a full-size AFCK, and full-size Manix.

These may not be the one you have but it's some of what I have.

The top one is the Al Mar
The second is an original AFCK from Benchmade
The small on is a Buck 510.
FWIW;

I'm really really thinking about grabbing that SERE 2000. I don't have any place around me to try it out so I guess I'll have to "chance it".

Right now I'm down to the following:

Al Mar SERE 2000
Benchmade 520
Emerson CQC 10

Choices Choices. :D

Saw your post on Cliffs review thread and you seemed to be leaning away from the SERE. DON'T!!! It's a great knife, I know its a liner lock, but your recent wallyworld buys should be enough to show you that liner locks arn't the end of the world. If you are content with the quality of those knives, you will be blown away by the strength and smoothness of the Al Mar.

Thanks korbiaka!

I've tried so many Benchmade's and Spyderco's in the past I just really want to try something different.

For me right now different is eitiher Emerson or Al Mar. :D
