pic request black paper/linen/canvas micarta

Hey guys, as the thread says, I would like to see some pics of black paper micarta, black linen micarta, and black canvas.

I think I have black canvas it looks green. is this correct?

Also for those who have black paper or black linen, how does it handle?

I'm interested in getting something from the Custom Shop, but would like it as a user.

Can't help with a pic. The black canvas does usually look more green than black. However that is not true lately. The last runs of ASHs with black canvas actually looked more gray/black than green. I don't even know if there is such a thing as black linen...I don't remember seeing it. And you probably already know that black paper micarta hasn't been on production knives for quite some time.

I'll start the search in the morning, still trying to decide if I should just get something modded or go the whole Hog and go custom shop.

I don't like G-10 (cept on my Milly), I love the Black paper, can get a bit slick. I also love linen micarta, to me it has a grippy feel, like a widow web. Bulk of my knives are black canvas micarta, we've all seen pix of that.

The PBS came did come with black paper as an option wow, I'd forgotten.

Jimmy, that black linen on your AD looks like the green linen I had on my AD and currently have on a DCBB Sus Scrofa. It is hard to tell from a picture though.

John, I've got ~?:p blades with Green linen scales (one of my favorites) that AD is definitely black.

I remember seeing the original ad for the DCBB/Black linen, just can't remember where.

The BATAC is Black Canvas. It looked very green when I first got it but over time it has started looking more black as I use it and it obsorbs oils and such. I don't have a current picture showing the change.

Anybody knw what type/color the handles on the milganza Sage ADs is supposed to be? It looks different than the black canvas. Green linen perhaps?

whats the retail on one of those?

also am I correct in assuming that the scales on the AD, Meaner and SS are the same size/shape and can be changed?

Did any of those knives come with black linen? If you can't guess I'm looking at getting a black linen AD modded to some extent.

Asked the Custom Shop (Garth?) but haven't heard back, and am just sizing up the options cost wise.

That DCBB/black linen maybe a grail knife,

No it's not an SE, it was a 'regular' Custom Shop offering. I've had it a few years, got it for a song, but it's the only one I've ever seen.
