If anyone has these two and some time, could you take a few pics side by side? much appreciated.

It is thick and probably the reason I don't carry it more. I've seen people thin the scales or do new scales and it improves the issue a bit. The choils are also a bit excessive and I've seen some mods where people had removed a couple of them. I feel like Benchmade was close to making a great first flipper, but created a bastard child instead. It doesn't seem to be very universally liked.

Thanks nickites. I don't mind the choils so much, was just worried about the thickness. I guess i'm going to get one, starting to get cool now and I'll be wearing jeans all the time, hopefully won't mind the thickness.

I really like the way mine feels in hand, and don't have any problems with the thickness in jeans, athletic shorts, or dress slacks. It feels better in hand than most of my other knives, but it has a really "lazy" action when I flip it. It's still easy to flip without using wrist action, it just feels a little sluggish.

I recently got a BM300 despite the lackluster reviews I've read. Really glad I did. All the qualities others don't like about it are the same qualities I like about it. "Knife is too thick...." - maybe in the pocket for some, in the hand it is really comfortable and remains comfortable with extended use. "Blade is too short..." - too short for what? I've never encountered a problem. "Handles are too rough..." - I am in construction, my hands are leather and my carhartts get tore up wether I carry a knife or not. My review would be - solid, well built flipper. Smooth action and great lock up. Considering the price, very well worth the money. Of course it is all subjective. You will just have to see if it works for you.

Im sold. I might try and find the LE edition. And if i don't like it (i prob will) someone will get a good deal on it in the exchange. thanks guys

I might be interested in trading or selling you mine. I carried it for a bit, tried to smooth out the factory bevel which seemed as toothy as any knife I'd ever purchased. Tip has the slightest little ding, i have to use a hand lens to really see it, so it would sharpen out easily. I just don't like it enough, but I've been too lazy to try to get rid of it...
