Hi guys I'm wanting to pick up both of these and I'm hoping someone can take a pic of both of these together for me. Also which do you think I should pick up first?

Thanks for any help. Heath

I've got a Gray Calypso Jr., but no Scorpius so I can't make the comparison for you. However, IMO, you should get the Calypso Jr. before the current(only) run is gone.

These Spydies were only going to be limited to 1000 pieces. :(

@heathen

I don't have the Calypso, but here are the pics from my new Scorpius. It's a really great knife .. much bigger and heavier than I anticipated. And *scary* sharp. Hope that helps! :)

Thanks for the suggestions and pictures guys. I went ahead and picked up the Calypso Jr. first and it is a great little cutter and has become my new EDC. Thanks again, Heath

Welcome to the forums Heathen, think you made a good choice by going with the Calypso Jr. Just so happens I received the passaround Scorpius the other day, so here's a shot of it with two of my Calypso Jrs, a stainless and a black FRN.

My observations; although the Scorpius has both a larger handle and a longer blade, the stainless Calypso Jr feels the heaviest of the three, possibly because the blade is thicker. The FRN Calypso Jr feels like a feather compared to either of them. If you are left handed, the FRN Calypso Jr is the only one of this trio that gives you the option of LH clipped carry. If you are right handed, but prefer tip up clipped carry, the Scorpius is the only one that offers this. And while the Scorpius appears to offer a larger hole, this advantage is effectively cancelled out because the hole is partially blocked by the handle when the knife is closed, and a stiffer back spring increases the effort needed to swing the blade open. Because of both the blade angle and shape, the Scorpius is the best push cutter of the lot, while its flat ground blade makes FRN Calypso Jr is the best slicer. I'm a big fan of flat ground blades, and so, if forced to choose, I'd take the FRN Calypso Jr on that point alone, its lefty friendly clip mounting and lightness would be frosting on the cake.

Interesting all those similarities between the Scorpius and the Calypso Jr.
Yesterday I compared my Harpy with the Calypso Jr. and found out that those handles are almost the same.

Deacon thanks for the welcome and that picture. That's just what I was looking for! Shiden you're right there sure are alot of similarities between the two. Now I just need to sneak buying a Scorpius past the wife.

By the way, man is that Calypso Jr. one Hell of a cutter!!!

Take care, thanks again, Heath

You can compare sizes with this pic. Scorpius is third from left Hope it helps:)
