Pic Request - CQC7 vs. Mini A100 vs. A100

Anyone have a CQC7 (any variant - as long as it's full-sized) and both an A-100 as well as a mini A-100? If you've got something common (like a full-sized Griptilian, a Para-2, or something else) that you can put next to it that would be awesome as well.


I've got a CQC7, but I'm still torn between the two A-100 variants. In my searching, it looks as if the A-100 is actually longer than the CQC7. If that's the case, then I think I'm leaning towards the Mini for now but I'm still not sure. I'll ultimately get both I'm sure, but I sort of feel like the Mini is going to be about the perfect size.
 
I have all three. Can try to snap a pic when I get home.

But yes, the full size a100 is longer than the cqc7.

Cash - yeah, the a100 is a pretty sweet piece. The full size is the easiest carrying bigger folder I've owned. As you can see, when closed, it doesn't take up more pocket room than a cqc7. And the mini a100 is nice because it disappears in the pocket and doesn't scare the sheeple. And both sizes are beautifully designed with awesome balance and feel.

Damn - that A100 is way larger than I thought (when opened - very good blade-to-handle ratio). Looks like I'm picking up a mini for sure as I tend to favor smaller folders for office carry.

On another note though, I wish you hadn't included the mini CQC-7... now I want one of those as well.

Yeah, the full-size A100 is interesting - I'd consider it a big folding knife for EDC. BUT - when closed in the pocket - it takes up no more room than a magic marker or anything. But when you open it, its size tends to freak out the non-knifers. Its a big blade. And both the full-size and mini have a phenomenal balance, symmetry, and overall feel.

Yeah, I snagged that mini 7A a little while ago. Awesome little blade there...I'd prefer if it had a plain edge but they're hard to come by and beggars can't be choosers! ;)

Let us know what you get and post a couple pics!
 
Got the mini A100 and I love it. It has not left my pocket yet - its nearly identical is length height to the Kershaw Skyline (which I also love), but a crap-ton thicker (The blade is roughly twice as thick).

I'm loving this little guy and its definitely earning it's keep.
