hello!

anyone got the nmfsh with GREEN AND BLACK G10 ? could Not find a Pic so far

Pics of NMSFNOs FBMs etc with that Color G10 also appreciated
 
The look of the Green / Black G10 varies across models because of the different cuts and machining used on each one. But here is a photo borrowed from Ken Lunde showing it on an Active Duty. Should give you an idea.



Here is another one showing all of the 2007 SE's (missing Argonne Assault) with Black / Green G10.

Isheldon - is your custom ash1 you posted in the Steelheart thread green and black g10 as well?

Cant decide what goes better with the Satin Finish - green/black or tan/black - maybe green/black cause its a Bit darker Overall...

No, that ASH-1 is Black & Tan G10.
 
Awesome photo! :thumbup: There has to be a lot more NMFSH's out there with Green/Black G10. Bring 'em out! :D

That 2007 Special Edition collection is awesome, to have that complete set would be pretty sweet. :cool:
 
I think Jaxx has a complete set. I only have 4 of them. They are very hard to find, and I doubt I will ever be able to complete the set.

why does the Green And black on the 2007 Model steelheart Look different than the newer nmfsh handles ? Looks like the 2007 Handles have got more layers g10?

Every batch of G10 is different. Both in how the different colors are layered, and how it is machined. You will also see differences between different batches of G10 in regard to color, and between suppliers. Personally, I like the looks on the older stuff better. Would love to see Green Linen and Snakeskin come back.

EDIT: There are also two different types (batches) of G10 used in the 2007 SE set. The complete set that Jaxx owns all has the same type of G10. It is a blacker showing less green. If you look at the top picture from Ken Lunde I posted showing the set minus the Argonne Assault, you will see the FSH, ASH-1, & Active Duty have a lighter / greener G10 material. Of the 4 I own from that set, I have a couple of both types. The FBM I have is the lighter greener G10, where my FSH is the darker / blacker G10.
