Anybody got pics of green and/or maroon canvas? They're not on the Busse site yet.

Same boat, Guyon, but it's a picture nontheless gosh darnit. The "green" one is a tad dirty in this pic and doesn't look its greenest, if I remember to later I'll clean it up and snap another shot.

IIRC, Busse doesn't even have it in shop yet.

I too would be interested in seeing it.

Here's a Bark River , but they really polish their canvas,, Busse generally leaves it rough, which is better for grip IMO

Thanks for the replies so far.
I have green canvas micarta knives, just not Busses.
There's always some variation in how companies/makers manufacture and finish the micarta.

So are these the first runs with green and maroon?

Not from Busse,,, but I have green canvas micarta pics

I think I misread this post in haste. I took it to mean: not pics from the Busse site (that I mentioned), but personal pics.

I talked to Lexi about a week ago, and she said they had not received the Maroon or Green Canvas yet!

The maroon and grey blade should look sharp.

Yeah, on a Trail Scalpel, I think I'm going with the coated SR-101 too. If my smaller Swamp Rats are any indication, the steel will shine in a blade this size.
I'm pretty set on green canvas and am waffling back and forth between the desert sage and the muddy brown coatings.
Eventually, the blade will be de-coated, so it's not that big a deal, I guess.

Upswept tip on the Trail Scalpel puts me in mind of the old D2 SR Safari Skinner. Great knife.

I went muddy on green canvas on my BG BOSS Jack. Will likely be a while before it gets here though.
