Hi Folks,

If someone has an HR and/or a FSH, and/or a NMSFNO and/or a (NM)FBM would it be possible to take and post a comparative, side by side photo.

I'm looking to compare the lengths and blade widths of these fine expressions of the cutler's art.

Even if you don't have them all, but have a couple or three then if you could post a comparative shot of those, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks
Jason

I certainly don't have them all but I'll post a pic of what I've got...be back in a few.

Here you go fireball...not the best of pictures but some of the knives you requested are here. From top to bottom: NMFBMLE, HOGFSH, HHFSH, and ASH. I understand the spine shot is a bit blurry too but I had to hold the NMFBM up since the Meltdown treatment wouldn't allow it to stand on its own.

Here is a pic from a tip angle that I have.

+2  Good looking set Russ!!! I am working on a similar one myself.....
Here is a NMSFNO and FSH with a few others thrown in to give you some more blades that you might end up "needing";)

Is that a huge chip in the Dogfather I see?

The blade profile of the FSH and the NMSFNO are almost identical. The FSH has a slightly taller/broader blade. As the NMSFNO can be had for ~$200 less than a FSH, you have to really want the Fusion handle.

NO way man.....that dog father has a wicked tough Horton convex edge. It is my yard chopper this spring....come to think of it I dont know what that is on the edge....maybe some kydex bits from slicing a chunk out of my sheath when I whipped her out:confused:!!!

I bet you hope she's not waging war against your nice deck...

Thanks Gents,

What I was trying to do was gauge the real difference between the NMSFNO and SHs.
The HR and FBM were requested for scale (as I have some of these).

It doesn't look like there's much in it really, apart of course from the extra INFI on the fat/heavy SH variants.

Well thanks for your pics and your help, much appreciated.
Jason
