My new Mini Com was delivered today and is waiting for me at home. My Mini 8 is in my RFP so if no one beats me to it, I will get a few pics for you this evening.
EDIT: Pics added.
You can see here, the 09 Mini Com appears to have the coarse texture G-10. Quite a bit rougher than the G-10 on my 09 Horseman.

Thanks. Those are exactly what I was looking for. Do you have a preference between the two? I really dig my mini 8, but I've carried recurves 99% of time i've been carrying. I miss the way they cut. I had a commander. It was great but just didn't feel quite right. I think a mini might do it.

Right now it's a tough call for me since I only got the Mini Com yesterday. I know I like the Horseman alot and find it to be a great EDC blade. First impressions of the Mini Com are very favorable and I love the way the stonewashed finish looks. 
It will see alot of pocket time for the next couple of weeks for sure. I'm with you on recurves and like them too and it will be fun to see how this one does.
