I was finally ready to pull the trigger on the Sage and I stumbled into the other. What a beauty!

Sweet! The mini persians I see don't look like that one!

Thanks! Very nice and very different...

I was actually curious to see these guys together myself, thanks Paul. I cannot get over how awesome your custom etching job is. Totally jealous.

Thanks, glad it was helpful. Bob Hawley of Windy Ridge Designs is the gentleman who did the engraving on that Mini Persian. His work is both excellent and quite reasonable.

It's easy to grin when your ship comes in and good fortune and fame are your lot, but the man worthwhile is the man who can smile with his shorts twsited up in a knot. - Morey Amsterdam

Just ordered the mini persian! I still would love to get the Sage though and will be monitoring the 'bay for a deal...

You can't find a bad word on the mini persian- seems like all the owners love it!

The closest thing to a negative comment you'll hear about any of the Schempp midlocks is that, while smooth, they are quite tight and therefore not at all "flickable". The upside of that is you don't have to worry about one of them accidentally opening part way in your pocket, or being labeled a gravity knife.

I would have figured the Boye Dent would have been the number one complaint. :p

I haven't had the chance to handle a Persian of any size, but my Sage II is here to stay.
