Hi all - I was wondering if someone could help me visualize the size of the Mnandi since I've never handled one but am thinking of getting one. I have been searching for a particular pic but have come up short. What I am looking for is a Mnandi set on top of a large 21 where the front of the scales of each knife line up, and the same for a Mnandi on top of a small Inkosi. Anyone willing to help me out? :)

Thanks in advance!

Here a Tamboti Trio Sebenza Lg, SM a Mnandi, sorry I have not the Inkosi

I wish people would stop posting photos of Mnandis. I am having a hard time resisting the temptation to buy one.

I just wish someone would post a pic with a scale in it for real size measurement?

Ok, you are all bad people, not really. I need to wait until after I attend NRA Nationals here in a couple of weeks. Then I can see what I have left over.

The mnandi feels incredibly small when comparing with a large sebenza. It has about the same cutting edge and overall length as the small, but is thinner. The photos here do a great job in visual explanation.
I carry a mnandi along with my small/large sebenza. Don't really like carrying it alone unless I'm around the house.

Thank you! It sure is small, but I'm thinking of it for a gentleman's knife or office knife, not a workhorse house chore knife. I thought the small Inkosi was too small for me as a workhorse type knife but that's not what I intend the Mnandi for.

As a gentleman's knife the Mnandi is almost a touch long in the blade, but still just right.
It has more "useful" real estate on the handle and to me feels much better in hand than the Inkosi. It's plenty stout enough for most any cutting chore that I'd use a knife of that size on and disappears in the watch pocket of my jeans when not in use.
If you're thinking of an office knife I believe that the Mnandi is much less intimidating than a Sebenza/Inkosi. You really can't go wrong with it.

Now to convince my wife I need a Mnandi. :D Any advice would be welcomed!

Well... If you're asking me, you're asking the wrong guy.

- Buy her a new pair of shoes first.
- Get one that matches her birthday and you'll think about her every time you use it.
- Tell her a Mnandi costs $25.
- Get her one too.
- Beg.

The Jigged handle has my vote! Dang!!!! Is that original or aftermarket, Lone Wolf?
