Hey guys!

Just wondering if someone could snap a few photos of the full size tom brown tracker in between an rc5 and an rc6 for me. I have a tracker and an rc4 and some other smaller Rats but I dont know if i NEED the rc5 or NEED the rc6 to have a nice size variation :D

Thank you!
Harrison

Have you also consider a bigger chopper, a folding saw, or a small axe? Not sure how much a 5 or 6 will complement the tracker and the 4.

Cheers
Hugh

Probably not going to find a lot of trackers in this crowd :)

I can however compare in size to the 4:

Diz, that collection brings a tear of joy to my eye. By the way what is the deal with all the variations of the ESEE fire kit. Do they come in different colors and styles?

Wow Dizwolf those are some great comparison shots :D I see a 5 in my future....

I don't have a 6 but here's the 4, 5, tracker and junglas

Yes. And No.

I'm way to lazy to do it again, but I think we tracked down something like 6 official variants. We're talking minute details like, different logos.

Basically, there is only one version of the firekit available. It's a great, well thought out little guy. Longer rods are user-mods, and really not needed.

As for the differences in color- They are Aluminum bodies. The coating is anodized on. The process generally leads to a very wide variety in colors from batch to batch.

I've got a tom brown tracker and I love it! allthough it does have one major flaw.

for chopping only a little bit of the actual blade strikes, that's my only complaint.

otherwise a great knife.

But i am still gonna get an esee 5 and a Junglas.

perfect heath2! Thank you, exactly what I needed! :)
Also, thank you dizwolf for all the esee comparison shots.

Gotcha, thanks for the info. Again wicked collection.

I really like the one tool concept of the tracker. I have been planning on getting one and sharpening it sorta like you have it so there is a better blending of edges with one scandi and the other a flat ground. Then for me it would be real user for a one tool option. Nice pics.

Both great blades.

Love the sigline, though I bet BSA has done everything it can to deny he ever said that.

yep unfortunately.

but hey, it's definitly getting better, I looked at a scout book from early 90s late 80s ( can't remember it's exact date of publishing) in the government section it said, as close to word for word as I can "the form of government outlined in the constituion is a democracy" I couldn't believe my eyes!! so i grabbed my 2010 book that I have on my iphone scanned through it and there wasn't a single word of democracy in it! it did talk about the republic though.

sorry to get off topic!

i'd say get all three knives.
