Anyone got both? I always regretted not getting the RMDx and have been curious about it. Pics and thoughts please!

Well looking at your sweet Desert Jack doesn't help!! :grumpy:;) :D I've actually been about to buy a RMDx a few times and then a thread pops up on the Desert Jack and I can't pull the trigger!

I don't even remember the RMDx being a whole bigger than the RMD. The Rodent 6 is a beast! The thinner stock on the RMDx seems like it would great.

No RMDx:

I miss my HR2 and the Scraper 5 too! You sharpen the top tip of the 5?

Nice group busse-kin there!

Now, where are all the RMDx's hiding out at?:eek:

No on the S5 tip sharpening. It is coating ware from use and stabbin stuff. I love those mudder grips for stabbin traction!

I recently had R6 and RMDx in hand and there isn't much difference between the two! R6 is maybe half an inch longer, if that, and slightly wider blade, and you've got saber versus convex. Handle size and shape is almost the same. R6 is half inch longer than M6 and a bit more comfortable in my, smallish, hand, not as wide handle and the profiling is better (for me). Best I can do is a pic of RMD with 5" HACK War Dog if you want one.

Here is the Ratmandeaux and War Dog. The pics aren't the greatest, sorry.

And Thrill for the win!

Thanks man!

I figure they must feel different, but what do you think? I love my War Dog and think it's a great bush knife. You like old #3?

They are both completely different. War Dog is thick and can probably handle anything you throw at it. Ratmandeaux is thinner, but longer and feels awesome in the hand. Two completely different knives from my perspective.
