I'm sure someones already posted one, but could someone post a pic of a SFNO and BG-SFNO side by side?

Throw in a NMSFNO if you have one :)

Thanks bud- Nice LE!

Just got my BG and I'm trying to decide if I want to keep this one or go back to an INFI one.

I like the overall profile and length of the BG
I like the handle contour and the steel of the INFI

what to choose?

I know I friggin' LOVE my BGSFNO. HOWEVER... I have never handled an INFI SFNO, so there's that.
The INFI version was 1/4" thick, too, correct?

Most INFI versions are .22" thick, including the LE.
There is a heavy version, it's .27".
I've heard a few flat ground SFNO's may be a bit thinner.

Wow, i hope we have post Blade show Ganzaa this year
I need a cigarette, after looking thru that thread lol

I have the INFI SFNO #57 from the Bladeshow Ganzaa and a SFNOBG from O2W. The finish on the SFNO is a little smoother than the finish on the SFNOBG. However, both blades mic out right at 0.270". The scales on the SFNO are much thinner overall and much more contoured that the scales on the SFNOBG. The hollow pins on the SFNO are set much deeper into the scales than those in the SFNOBG, making the SFNO scales less comfortable for me. I even had to smooth out the edges of the circumference on the SFNO pin holes so they wouldn't be so irritating to grip. I am assuming that the scales on the SFNO are black paper micarta and I know that the scales on SFNOBG are G-10, though I don't know that this would make any difference.

The scales on my BGSFNO (SFNOBG?) are micarta, and the pins are not set so deep as to be uncomfortable to me. Although I haven't done anything more with it yet than play with the balance; that will come later, just not enough time to get out yet this spring. They are pretty thick scales, IMO, but not as contoured as, say, the BGTG and TG-M (which are pretty much the same contour, both G10). I wish the scales on the BGSFNO were slightly more contoured, as that would help with the grip while choked back on the handle for chopping.

If I could have the BGSFNO in the same thickness as the TG-M (which is 0.22), with slightly more contoured scales, the knife would be almost perfect. Change it to INFI, and it would be pure perfection.
