Can someone post these up side by side (logo sides up) with the front guard holes inline with each other.

Thanks!

I'll post one as soon as I can (after the guest leave).

O.K., here you go, a SHBA, Boss MS and an original MS for comparison.

Thanks Ducci!

.
Glad to help, they are all just enough different in size.

Notice all of the old knives have more of a drop point than the new ones, they just look better to me. I'll add a BBSHSH tomorrow.............
:D

I like drop points as well.
To me the SHBA is the most comfortable knife I've ever held. (Hope 2010 brings us a SHBA LE from Jerry!)
How does the Boss street compare with it? The index finger area looks to be about the same measurement belly to spine??

Nice comparison, Ducci. Funny is how different all 3 feel in the hand. The SHBA is a brick. A sharp brick and comfy like a Lay-Z-Boy, but a brick. The original MS FEELS a lot smaller than that pic shows. Like. . . .TINY.

Dude,

That sure looks like a pretty short SHBM. :p

Thanks for the pic Pimp Ducci.

Could you post a pic of the Boss Street on top of the SHBA???

Oh ya, forgot to add "I'll Take It", the SHBA that is.

O.K., I fixed it and NO, I don't grind on the older blades!!!

That SHBA is way too thick for you Mulder, it is .305"

Closest I got is an older A2 with smooth bolts @ .309

Guess my "I'll Take It" will have to apply to the much thinner Boss Street Proto.:p

that is such a fantastic photo, thank you!:thumbup::thumbup:

It makes me want to get one to send to the custom shop to have them grind the edge back so theres no choil... with the edge flush with the fingers, it would make for an awesome general duty bush craft knife

The BA seems to have a dished out area toward the pommel end of the handle. Is that accurate or just a trick of the lighting? How does it affect the grip?

If you mean where the pinky finger rests you are correct.
SHBA has the most comfortable handle i've even had my hands on. It melts into your hand and is super secure.
I really hope Jerry brings this model back at a .220 thickness.

he may have meant the flats of the scales, It appears as though they are convex.
