Thinking about pulling the trigger on an ESEE 3. Need to see a pic of it in hand and with an ESEE 4 for comparison.

Thanks. :)

Here is my ESEE-3 ken. It is one of my favorite users now. I do not have a ESEE-4, as I found what i needed in the 3, I'm a minimalist of sorts.

Just ordered an ESEE 3s. Bastards. ;)

These are two I will NOT get rid of. I really want to get a 3MIL. The 3 is great but I like the 4 a lot as well.

The handles are the same length but because of the blade stock thickness difference the 4 fills the hand a little better. That being said the 3 is still very comfortable to hold and use.

Hope this helps.

The three is remarkably apt at slicing. get it. you'll see.

couple for size..

A mans knife vs a ladies knife

Already have a 4. :)
What more do you need ;)

I love the 4, and at first I thought the 3 was going to be too thin for me. It is a bit thin, but by damn it's sure tougher than it looks, and it's one heck of a slicer. Great general purpose cutter.

Actually the 3MIL is still on my side right now. I made and sold 40 para cord bracelets, in damn near every color you can think of, since yesterday afternoon and I did all of the cutting with it.
