Anybody have them both? Whatcha think? Both seem like great slicers to me...

I only have the Centofante 3. It's a great slicer. Can't tell you anything about the JD Smith.

Now see I don't have a Centofante 3 but I have 2 of the new JD Smith in Foliage Green G10.
I got two because I absolutely used the snot out of the first one I had.

The grind makes it wicked sharp and it takes a hair popping edge with just a little touch-up.

The JD Smith was my primary EDC this summer Hiking and Fishing and it cleaned it share of fish, as well as handled other food prep, it cut everything else an EDC is expected to including opening mail, cardboard packages, cutting bailing twine, Zipties and clamshell packs, it sliced vegies and fruit, cut up meat and was even used for a bit of whittling.

It is a pretty slim package in pocket, yet feels bigger in hand...without being too much as the Police 3, Manix and Millie feel to me. The Smith is a great Ergonomic Cutting Tool and one of my fave's. (Sal and Company if you're reading this I'll take two if you re-sprint in another color G10)

Pics to follow later today.

Thanks all. seems like there's a lot of love for these two. Just got the Sage 2 and it's awesome! Just the never ending question of...what's next?! hah!

I like the looks of both of these and don't know if the Smith is worth the extra $$

The JD Smith is a good looking knife. Since you just got the Sage 2 which is a fantastic knife if you are looking for a larger knife consider the Endura 4 G-10. I just got one and w/ the FFG blade it is a great slicer. I found mine on ebay for about $74 shipped. If there are any left it's a great deal.
