What am I doing wrong here? I have this picture on my flickr and I am copying and pasting the URL directly from my address bar by using the little box with the tree in it. Im stumped.

The link you copied is to a page on your Flikr account, not directly to the image.

So, posting it between the brackets (which is what the software automatically does-- places it in those brackets-- when you click on the Tree) results in a "broken image."

[img]your image link here, no spaces, ending with .jpg or .gif

I followed your broken image link above (right-click [control-click if on Mac], select "Open image in new window"). I right-clicked on the resulting image and chose "copy image URL." I then returned here and pasted that image URL between the image brackets, as noted above.
