I'm looking for 3 to 4 Rats. What would be your picks? I camp mostly by motorcycle and 4X4. We normally tent/hammock camp but for no less than a week and up to 4 weeks at a time. Some backpacking in the near future. I'm hopefully on the extra 40 list for an Rat Pack RC-3 so my other choices so far are Izula,RC-6 and Jungla. RC-5 instead off the RC-6 but leaning towards the RC-6. I will be also getting a Pink Izula for my wife, so she doesn't kill me for ordering more knives.:D

I think the RC4 is so similar to the 3 that you could do just about everything with the 3 that you can with the 4. The 5 is just such a beast of a knife that it would have a lot of practical uses, and the 6 is an amazing slicer (from what I hear, haven't gotten one yet). As for the small knives, either the Izula or the H.E.S.T, depending on exactly what role you would want your small knife to have. Just my $0.02.....
 
I like my RC-6, would do the RC-5 since I have a bow drill set and the RC-3MIL and Izula as a buck up EDC (legal carry almost everywhere) neck knife.

Wow, same as Tony, LOL didn't think of it till after I wrote this.

Jungla or light machete and RC3, that's all you'd need.

Get an Izula for EDC, and an RC5 just because you want 4.
 
What I'd have:

Izula — small chores/reserv blade/skinning/survival kit blade
RC-3MIL or RC-4 — utility blade/allround blade/carving blade
RC-6 — chopper/all-in-one blade/survival knife
Junglas — heavy chopper/SD weapon
 
what Stoffi said -- although when the folder comes out, it'll replace the fixed izula on my list.
