This was started over on the GEC thread, however I thought it should have its own thread.

Here's the game you get to pick one of the knives posted. It's not the last and only knife you get for the rest of your life. Just if you had the option of the 3 knives which one would you pick.

You can pick one and/or you can add a photo of 3 traditional knives for others to pick from. It can have a theme or be random. Be creative, have fun, and no wrong answers. Let's go.

I'm picking the Morris, because it's different and fun.

The Morris. I would buy one exactly like that if I could find it for sale anywhere.

The M&H because I already have the others. Unless I did my homework and found out I could get more for the Northfield.

I'd pick the whittler. I tend to favor multi-blade knives over single blades (with plenty of exceptions to that "rule").

Great thread and great start Jiki Jiki ! All three great knives, but I go with the 29 every time, no question!

I have never used a friction folder, but the Morris looks very cool and useful. I really like the warm carmel color of the handle scales, and the caplifter tang is neat. It looks very pocketable; does it need a slip to keep it closed in the pocket?

I don't use a slip, however I have an extra pocket on my pants for it. He does offer slips as an add on.

I'm not whittling with it, but everything else it does a nice job on. Follow your basic knife safety and your good.

The Yankee Barlow.

Jiki Jiki Is it possible to bend the rules and be allowed to throw one modern in the mix of the total of three knives?

I’ll play - I think I’d take the M&G, just because.

Here’s my three …
