For me it goes as follows:
#1
BM 552 Ritter Grip: light weight, axis lock (enough said), good blade jimping, tough "grippy" handle (pun intended
) and my favorite blade/blade shape on any of the knives I own. Absolutely perfect grinding and belly to boot. This all makes for what I believe to be the perfect utility knife.
#2
Spyderco Manix 2
I really, really like the Manix 2. It has a great low riding pocket clip, the best jimping I've seen on any blade (typical Spyderco really), an excellent finger choil, and the opening hold is truly a flawless design.
#3
S30v Kershaw Blur
This knife is more affordable then the others but just as good. The Blur has an excellent blade shape (I love the recurve), great blade grinds, a strong assisted opening mechanism, and great handles that provide remarkable grip.
There are a lot more knives in my collection that I also like a lot but these three are my favorite sub $120 knives.
