Picked these up at a flea market.

One is marked Madison Michigan 1801 axe. The other I can not find any marks on but may be once I wire brush it. Any help in IDing the unmarked one appreciated.

The top one is a very standard Dayton, anyone could have made it so you'll just have to take it to a wire wheel and see.

Are there any ridges in the eye of the Michigan pattern axe ?
It looks like it could be a rebranded True Temper Woodslasher.

The Michigan axe has China on it. Some numbers above that. So not a real valuable axe IMO but a good user . Nothing on the small one
