Hello this is my first post in this forum im mostly just a Kershaw man but was at flea market today and picked up these 5 knives for 10 bucks.....Was wondering if anyone could tell me some info on any of them like I said I have no clue what I got just thought they were cool and full of history. There not in the greatest of shape but for money I said why not

The top one is a TL-29 I think. I believe it was a standard issue military lineman/electrical worker knife. Someone please correct me if I wrong....it's happened before!

The first 3 are easy worth what you paid for them, the Camillus is a TL29 I believe they were called an electricians knife, they've been around since the 1940s or so,a lot of companies made them. The small Case is a stockman pattern made in the 1980s,it's a nice little knife even with the tipped blade. The other Case was made in the 1970s,there should be a pattern number on the reverse side of the master blade that ill tell you what model it is.

The first one is a civilian TL-29. If it were military issued, TL-29 would be stamped into the handle. TL= Tool Lineman. Also known as an electricians knife for civilian use. Very common knife.

Second is a delrin Case stockman from the 80's. Cant tell for sure if there are four or six dots. 4=1986, 6=1984.

Third is a delrin Case jack knife. Probably a 6235. If there are no dots under the USA then it dates '65-'69. If there are dots then it dates to the '70's.

Fourth is a Boker USA on the same platform as the TL-29 but probably had a hawk bill larger blade & the screw driver blade. Hawk bill was more for carpet/linoleum etc.

Fifth is a Saber trapper, Sabers were made in Japan, if I remember correctly.

For ten bucks you did just fine:thumbup:

You ain't kidding, if it's got a sharpened edge on it, someone here knows something about it.

I found a cast aluminum scoop with a flip lid on top and a serrated razor edge in the bottom, I looked all over the internet for months, couldn't find out nothing about it, posted it on BRL's forum and in about a 1/2 hour someone came back, (BRL himself IIRC) and told me it was an snowcone scraper from the somewhere around the 30s-40s.

These guys really do know their stuff. :)

Post away, if I don't know someone will. Learning and helping others is all part of the fun/hobby:thumbup:
