I don't know anything about the maker but I can tell you he does some nice work.
I feel like I stole them I got such a good deal, all three for less than the price I'd pay for one now that I've seen them in person.
They were made by Kevin Brinker and are forged from files. I bought all three separately from the same place (some of you may know where) but they join together to make a nice set.
The edge on these knives is as close to a zero grind as I've seen without actually being one, and would rival the sharpness of any knife I've owned.
Despite their appearance they are quite comfortable to hold. The blade itself is a nice high polish, the near tang area has some remnants of its former life which makes for some nice traction and the handles are roughly forged.
The sheaths, while well done, leave a little to be desired but I can take care of that later. I may even ship them off to Kenny Rowe to have a single sheath made for all three.
Let me know what you think.
I'd also like to hear from anyone who has additional info on Kevin Brinker.
Thanks!
