I added a few folding blades to my collection last night. This is a portion of what I picked up(150 in total). Lots to show - it will keep me busy this winter trying to identify some of them.

Pic looks good here also.

That deer hoof folder (swing guard?) looks interesting...

Pic working for me. Mind if I get the info for this Sowbelly (the one with the arrow pointed to it)?

I will repost it for those that can't see it.

Nice group. I bet the Traditional subforum would like to see this thread.

The demo knife in the middle (all steel one) has a pretty big following and folks often look for certain years, often their own birth year, a child's birth year, or year of their anniversary.

Thanks for reposting that, this is a great haul and there's lots of great stuff here.

I'd love to hear about that little brass colored one with the bail that's pointed outwards on the edge of the middle right side of the pile.
That green one is also pretty different.

I can see a mil-k, a few shell construction imperials ( love those for their inexpensive nature and great performance ) and I think a KA-BAR and maybe a Craftsman stockm possibly made by schrade.
then of course there a Kline electrician if not 2.

Agreed, I hope it is a clip/cap lifter combo. I always liked that pairing.
Looks like it could be, or a well sharpened pen blade with a bit of tip sticking up.

A real interesting one I just noticed is that little metal handled one with the lanyard hole that's right in front of the hoof handled knife with the guard.
It appears to have more than one blade and maybe a tool that folds out from the back.

Thank you. Yes, it is pretty interesting. I have not dated it yet. It is starting to lose hair. I will post more details on that one at some point.

Thanks for the re-post of the image. I really appreciate it. Yes, I will be posting follow ups over at the traditional subforum. The Demo knife in the middle is a US Military folding blade mint condition. I haven't dated it yet? Is this the one that you are referring to as a demo blade? Also, I'm not sure why some can see the image and others can not. I'm using Google images as the hosting site. What does everyone generally use - I know Photobucket is done.

The little Brass one is Richards Sheffield of England The blade length is 2.8cm.

Yes that's the one he's talking about. it's falsely known as the demo knife, but combat engineers who were issued them know they're officially called the MIL-K-818.
The most common ones are camillus as they continued to make them up until they shut down around 2007, but imperial also made a lot of them.
I'm not an expert but I know there are ways to date them.
I think some may actually have dates on them somewhere.
