This knife was sitting pretty under a glass display at the local goodwill. The price was certainly right! Some light pitting, but serviceable. A quick search on ebay failed to turn up any K-1's, but plenty of K-5's. Never owned a West-Cut before, but so far it's not a bad knife at all. Anyway, it's a keeper & will get plenty of use after I find/make a sheath. Thanks for looking!:)

Sorry 'bout that Fonly...I didn't even think about stats.:o They are as follows:

Blade length: 5 1/4 in.
Overall length: 9 1/2 in.
Guard/Pommel: Aluminum
Handle: Stacked leather
Steel: ?
Age: ?

How come every time I go to Goodwill the only thing they have is crappy clothes and beat-up shoes? Who buys used shoes?

Awsome, thanks for that.
Nice looking knife btw, I really like the look of it. Great find.

I've done a little looking around. Seems that West-cut was a company under Western Cutlery (to date owned by camilius). Though there not worth a whole lot (~$25) They were made from most likely carbon steel. Nice little knife either way.

If you want more information, head over to the Bernard Levine's forum. Lots of great information over there.
