I posted pics of the knives in Bernard Levine's forum not much info forth coming. 1 is marked 7OT the other is marked 7-OT. I'm just hoping neither was made in china both came with leather sheaths. Can anyone here take a look and let me know. Or have the post moved here, didn't know about this forum.

As you may know the Imperial Schrade Corporation went bankrupt and closed in 2004. Since then the Old Timer line has been imported from China for Taylor Brands LLC.

Yes, both of yours are original Schrade-USA Old Timers. Congrats on the find.
Most of the import models are labeled China on the backside of the tang. Some may have been sold with only stickers or etches that could easily be removed. All of the original Old Timers proudly say USA in the tang stamp.

Thanks for the response, if you looked at the pics the schrade+ had a bent tip. Being Mr. DIY I tried to fix it, and yep it snapped about a quarter of an inch off. What a dumb a$$!

Whew really PO'D at myself for breaking the tip. I've seen blade blanks online anyone here fix these knives. I reground the tip but I was so pissed I put the other away and won't touch it is the schrade+ worth fixing or leave it alone?I really love the shear size of the knife and I have large hands. Maybe use it as a project and get stag scales and new blade!
