couldn't resist the price so I bought them. Nice condition. nuttin fancy, just your standard schrade + and 96OT bearhead trapper.

Five and a half hours I have resisted the urge to give a wisenheimer response to young muskie's post here. Each time I checked the forum for news of a sharp sort, there the title was, just glaring at me and begging for the obvious reply. So far I have done well in self control, but it is only a matter of time before Lobo or I do it, so I might as well.

DANG, I THOUGHT THIS THREAD WAS GOING TO BE ABOUT ALASKAN HOOKERS!

O.k., now that the schmart-adz stuff is out of the way, congratulations on two new additions to the display MM! I must say that it is a good thing that you did not discover us (and Schrade collecting) last year. At the rate you are going, you would have 365 knives already, including the exclusive forum knife! What? You didn't know we had a forum knife? A computer literate lad like yourself has already mastered the forum search function, so check it out!

Codger

PS: rumor has it that next year's forum knife will be a fixed blade!

hahahahaha..... I have visited here about 6 times since I posted the message and was waiting for a reply or a post..but kept coming up empty handed then I seen your screen name under the post so I figured I finally had sumptin to read :D . Forum knife, huh? I'll have to search for the beast. Didn't know about no forum knife. Also, I first found this forum 2 years ago, but just recently go into schrade collecting. Also added a 787 muskrat, a twin to my other 2 blade 787 except in has a nice even patina. picked it up for a little of nothing.

Those are two nice knives MM.
I really like the 296WC Crimson Birch model.....I've got a couple of those around here somewhere.....(rustle, rustle...dig, toss)...ah, here they are. Very nice!...

I hope you had a good time, and used suitable protection wherever applicable.

Don't worry about the old Codger.....he's just fixed in his ways.

old codger sure is...fixed in his ways and will always be :D . trying to decide wether to sell or keep the crimson birch model....hmmm... i'm real iffy about stainless...even though I won't be using the knife I just don't like stainless.
