Previously owned a Norseman and sold it to pursue other knives. Today I ran across Rask #34 on the other forum and decided to give it a whirl.

I've actually been downsizing the collection looking to pick up knives i've sold off that I've now determined are what i'm looking for (cant have everything so had to buy and sell for a while) and this couldnt have come at a better time.

It should be here by Saturday and I'm looking forward to finding a Norseman to put by its side.

That's awesome, awesome grab! Looks like such an amazing knife, definitely share your thoughts, please!

Nice man! I've only heard good things about them.
I'm on the pre order list so it's a little wait till mine arrives.

Thanks everyone for the comments, I cant wait. If I like this one as much as I liked my old Shiro 95T, I'm going to be tickled!

My only concern is that the pivot is rotated on the show side. Eric Grimsmo said there was a boss on the pivot to keep it from rotating. Guess I'll have to take it apart when it arrives and see whats up.

They're taking orders on new ones but the 9+ month wait has kept me from doing so.

Same feeling. I have visited that page so many times, but that wait time is brutal. Especially since you have to pay for all of it upfront.

I was ready to order a Medford Praetorian Ti about 9 months ago. When they said it was pay up front, I was out.

I know the Grimsmo brothers had delays until they achieved "perfection" in the knife and I see how this was possible now. I wonder how many pre-orders they have on the books and what number they are up to so far...

I wanted to wait until their first or second revision on the knife before making an order (as they did with the Norseman) but this was too good a deal to pass up. I would have preferred a Damasteel blade and some different scale/clip treatments but we'll see how it goes.

Holy Hell!

First impression when I removed it from its box was "this thing is a featherweight". I didnt think it would work as a proper paperweight. But I was wrong. It is lightweight but it is SOLID and SMOOTH. I thought my previous Shirogorovs were smooth. This thing (and my previous Norseman) define smooth. Theres no play, its properly centered and its solid in any position the blade is in. I cut paper with it and its a razor, it shaves phonebook paper. Pocket clip rocks and its the perfect size for EDC.

I'm officially looking for another Norseman and am no longer in the market for another 95T. Im also interested in another Rask now, Damasteel blade and clip please.

Whats up my Mustang Brother?

Yea, I'm not here as much as the other site, but I stop in to see whats up with the knife experts. I know less about knives than I do 1911's.

jeezzzzz , what is this "other site" everyone keeps talking about?

I will be first in line when John makes his next knife that will feature a 3 inch blade.
I'm a huge JG fan even though I've never owned either. I'm not really into customs but I will defiantly own a Grimsmo knife one day.
