This month I went a little overboard with knife purchases.
I bought a Becker Crewman the beginning of the month, for my truck knife, but this is too much of a good thing to leave in my truck. At first I was put off by the handle and the short blade, which was of course smaller than the BK Combat Bowie I owned. The Crewman is better suited size wise for me.
I also am in the process of clearing out my Spyderco collection, and traded up to a Military. I had a regular Military, in ATS34 if I remember correctly. I bought a new one with black blades in CPMS30V. I didn't think they could do a better job. I picked it up from my PO Box on Monday, and haven't been able to put it down since. It works and feels great! I might put my Native III away and carry this Military as my EDC.
Last but not least, yesterday I stopped in a sporting goods store in Hanover PA and bought a Buck Stockman. I had bought the Walmart models, but just wanted the good old regular Stockman. I was using it today, just for small tasks, and it performed very well.
I think I cleaned up pretty good, I'm going nuts with anticipation of a custom knife purchase next month!
