Picked up a new pistol

Nice pistol... How far you shooting with it?
Looks like you shoot pretty good with it! :)

My most accurate pistol is a Ruger Single Ten .22 pistol... at 50 yards with the stock sites I pick off "left over" clay pigeons parts off the berm with it. Now put subsonics in it, and it'll go 2 ft left.. then 2 ft right at same distance :P

IMO it doesn't matter what brand name pistol you have.. if you can't keep good groups... it sucks :P "You can always throw it at the bad guy right?"

That target was shot at 10 yards off hand......

I seem to be pretty accurate with all of my M&P's ;). This target was also shot at 10 yards with my Shield and M&P22 compact. The sights for the 22 were off from the factory but it only took a mag or two before I had it shooting POA.
 
Suppressor.... now I gotta hate you... because here in Iowa we aren't allowed to even have them... at ALL :(

and I want like 4 of them! :)

Nice setup!!!! How are you liking the DeltaPoint? The fastfire I bought (impulse buy)when I picked up the pistol died shortly into the first range session.

It also looks like suppressors will be legal in Iowa in the near future!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Interestingly, the deltapoint failed on the third trip to the range. Leupold fixed it right away with no issues. I really like it, my first reflex sight.

Burris tried to send mine back "as is". After a bit of back and forth they agreed to send me a new one in a month when they get more in stock :(. Still love the gun though. Here's a target I shot tonight at 15 yards.

I had a little learning curve getting the Deltapoint set up, but once I figured out how to use it, I love it. I am able to get on target very quickly, and it is really just 'put the dot on it" and the hole will show up there on the target.

This is for USPSA matches, so that is a plus, might make the old man a little quicker and more accurate.

I had trouble with those tall "co-witness" sights - not sure why, but they just seemed to make sight-picture harder.

So - does the top-porting cause any issues for you? That is the scuttle on the gun forums, but I am not seeing it - it has not caused me any issues.

Mine is just a range toy for right now. As the time becomes available I plan on getting into some type of shooting league. The suppressor sights are taking a bit to get used to but overall I'd say I like them (I wish they had went with fiber optic sights). As for the porting I'm guessing most of the people debating whether or not they cause any issues have never shot a ported pistol and are going off of what the see/hear on youtube.
