Well I really liked my Tenacious. I got one in blue g10. I was thinking about getting the Black version but the Resilience caught my eye. So I drove down to Blade HQ and picked one up along with some schmuckatelli Tiki pewter beads. Check those out, they are really detailed and nice on a lanyard if that's your thing.

Anyway, The resilience is great. it came hair poppin sharp and for under 50 bucks it's a great deal. I compared the features to the Military and the resilience came out ahead to me in all ways except the Military has S30V.

It must be nice to just drive down to blade HQ.........all sulking aside, congrats on a fine lil knife!!!

9Blades,
Its about 30 miles from my front door. All of those guys are nice, helpful, and knowledgeable about blades. And I do like the resilience. Im not inclined to beat my folders, as I have some stout fixed blades for that, but it's nice to have a well built knife as big as the resilience-at a price that if something happened to it I would not go tachycardic. The resilience reminds me of a folding Kitchen knife-and I say that in a good way, since half the cutting I do with knives is in the kitchen. Its fun to whip out a big 'un like the resilience or my Manix 2 XL and start cutting veggies or meat.

Yea its a good thing I cant just drive down to BladeHQ, my wife would divorce me and I would be indigent.

You better be careful, that resilience is just the beginning of your addiction.

I live in Utah also up on Davis County. I've been meaning to drive down there and check it out. I order there all the time. Do they have a showroom?

Obligatory pic.

I introduced Spyderco to very good friend of mine. I sold him one of my Millies and he was hooked after that. He was looking for another Spydie folder as a backup but something that was a little more affordable and something he wouldn't worry about losing or misplacing which he has a problem with. He has always been a "4 inch blade or longer" kind of guy. I told him about the Resilience and he had me immediately order one for him and after a year of EDC'ing both, he likes carrying the Millie better because of its light weight compared to the Resilience especially when wearing light shorts. He doesn't worry about edge retention on either folder because he just hands it over to me to sharpen it.

Spyderco really hit the ball out of the park with the Resilience/Tenacious/Persistence/Ambitions line. High value...rock solid performance ! I carry my Tenacious often, and I continue to be impressed with it's fit and function.

I have had the tenatious for almost 8 months with it being my main edc, it's stood up to countless use at work. I'm a meat cutter. I liked it so much I got the resilience a a couple weeks ago.love it. Worth the 40 I spent on it.

the resilience is an awesome knife I have three and their all very smooth just be careful that knife will cut youre finger off if you close it wrong

Iceman,
They have a showroom. Its not huge, but it's a nice enough size to work well for them. The folks are great there. Hey, I used to live in Bountiful, I know Davis County pretty good. Nice to hear from you.
