I know I should post a picture but it's getting late. I'm not much of a fan of hollow handle survival knives but something said "Buy Me." Survival knife made in Brazil,by Garcia. stainless spear point blade, saw on spine. The leather ringed handle felt light and I twisted the butt of the knife and it was a cap that came off. The shop didn't even know it came apart. Some pills in plastic wrap came out and a small package of fishing line came out. Looked like a filter from a cigarette. The sheath was fairly well made and it had a pouch. In the pouch, I found a small box with a compass stuck in it. One side of the box had a ferro rod the other side was a whistle. The opposite side of the small box had a thin sharpening stone attached to it. I got to looking at it and the stone was mortised into the box and slid open, Maybe for matches. In the hollow handle, I could see how the blade was attached inside with a bolt. Well thought out. Lucky find I think. The knife had just been put out. I left it there and then call a friend to pick it up for me since I lived out of town.
