I recently aquired a new #C57P, (plain edge), D'Alton Holder "Toad" from Wright Knives, (thanks Dennis), and I have to say this is one little winner. As you might know it is Spyderco's smallest folder but that fact belies it's cutting ability. Even though the blade is only 1 1/2" long, the cutting surface is right out forward where you need it, allowing it to cut like a much larger blade. Nice thick spine, (for such a small blade), that tapers down to a wonderful thin, scalpel-like edge. The Almite-coated aluminum scales are very attractive and the little knife has a light yet solid feel to it. Great job Sal and crew. Thanks for sometimes going against the grain and having the courage to come up with beautiful, "practical" knives instead of what's "cool".
