Picked up an American Kami

...For my birthday. My wife wouldnt even consider it so I got it for myself. Its new but the kydex has already scuffed it a bit. Its the Recurve model. Nicely done lines and I can shave with it. The handle is amazingly comfortable. The guys at the shop pointed out that a number of people handling the knife had cut themselves right where the edge started at the choil so they blunted it for me. I had a tech lok added to the kydex sheath for horizontal carry. DJ does some nice work. I hope to have one of his axes soon.

Congrats, I really like American Kami stuff. I prefer the G-10 handled ones over the cord wrapping myself as well. DJ's knives are meant for real use, so I'm sure you'll have fun with that. I'd love to get my hands on one of his Wakizashis.
