Ahh man just when I thought I had enough going on in my life.
Cruising thru Home Depot the other day in the Nuts and Bolts isle (My favorite spot) came across some 8" spikes.
Picked up a dozen of them, headed straight to the shop. Put a point on each of them and headed to the backyard.
A few dozen throws later and I'm hooked:D

Now find myself cruising web sites Etc looking for cool thrower designs. Just have to make a half dozen or so.
Looks like it's time to go bug the guy at the spring shop!

When you have become good at trowing knives you will come to throwing axes. I can't do it but I have seen it done. Looks like fun but I did not have a small axe. I think you guys call them hawkes. I have seen some top quality on this sight.

I'll stick to throwing an old bayonet at the moment. My son says I should stick to throwing rocks I'm better at it. (no fun in rocks)

Spears, make a spear.

3" or 4" spearhead and a push broom handle. Made one for my daughter when she was 15. She could outthrow me.:D

Guys try this!
All I did was take a knife to the Spring shop and show them the end result. Now they are saving the drops for me in the size I need.
100lbs per knife I make for them...in trade.
Not a bad deal in my eyes!
