Picked up for less than a dollar. Tip was busted off and had the worst edge I've ever seen.

Ground out the broken tip with little luck.
Looking for a replacement blade.

Nice score, but have to ask, why a new blade? Looks like there is plenty of life left in it.

I agree. That blade has a lifetime left on it and I would use the heck out of it. I would just have to keep telling myself, I got this knife for one dollar.

Send that bad boy in and get an m4 blade put on it. That is what I did. Set me back $40 beacuse the M4 only comes in a coated blade

I like the way that looks just the way it is!
Someone's wife must have been mad and selling her husbands stuff on the cheap!!

Sweet! Great user look to it, too. I love stories where people score like this. Enjoy

lol great stuff. I will probably send in for a new blade. Would like some new scales as well.

Personally I like the look of it just as it is, I would just put an edge on it and bring it back to life, I'll give you $2 for it lol !

For me the knife looks good, just needs cleaning and a new edge to accommodate the broken tip. You Could send it to Benchmade for warranty (yup) service and ask for a full tuneup. Replace the blade? I think it's $25, but I'd just do the servicing for the price of shipping the knife to the factory.

Awesome score. Maybe I should start stopping at yard sales lol. I'd sent it along to Benchmade for a little TLC and then enjoy it

Nice score even as you fixed it I am sure it will be a good user new blade or not. Also they will regrind that edge for free and replace all springs and screws too.

And they will replace the clip too....if you want. All of that for free. The blade replacement is the only thing that costs. Was about a two week turnaround

I have an edge on it now. I wish it didn't have the tip broken off. I had to make it look ok even though it was 3/8 shorter. No blade play so thats nice.

I actually can't wait for mine to look like that lol. Something about this knife begs to be used. Hard to find that in knife that's not exactly cheap. I'm with the others, I'd keep it just like it is.
