About a month ago or so, I missed out on picking up a Theuns Prinsloo by one day. Had it all planned out, then some lucky person bought it the day before I had made a final decision. Lesson learned ... if you like something .... don't wait! Actually .... a lesson I should have learned well before this, as this is not the first time such a thing has happened. Anyway, another popped up that I liked so there was no hesitation. This one has crosscut Mammoth ivory cast in a green resin, green dyed giraffe bone bolsters, a 3" Alabama Damascus blade which has been copper washed and a copper inlay in the purple anodized thumb stud. The liners and back spacer are also anodized and contain Theuns' classic Bushman rock art engravings. Inside of the back spacer is also engraved with Theuns' name and more rock art engravings. Fit and finish is great and Theuns' unique style gives it a very interesting look.

This is seriously one of the prettiest folders I have ever seen. Congratulations on an excellent pickup!

Thanks for the comments. I am still amazed at all the detail he put into this little knife. As I said, I missed out getting a similar one last month. So, when I saw this one, I wasn't going to hesitate. He doesn't do a great volume of knives .... but will definitely be looking for more.

Jeez Dennis, you always get all the pretty girls! That is one good-looking knife! Needs a pocket clip, though :p

Well, yes ..... truth be told .... I like the pretty girls! Please don't hold that against me!!! Now ..... with regards to a clip ..... if you actually think I would go about carrying this little beauty in anything but the slip case that came with it ...... you would be very much mistaken!!! She won't be getting scuffed up by keys, coins or anything else that might find a way into my pockets!!

Clips are a requirement for my folders. My front right pocket is knife-only. No keys or change allowed!

If I owned this baby, I don't think it would leave its Bill's Custom Case except for admiring time!
