picked up some free sheats yesterday

i went to that magical little hardware store yesterday, and picked up a 484. when the manager was digging around under the counter he couldnt find the box for it, he offered to give me some sheaths he found that were sitting under there collecting dust with no knives. he said he was going to throw them away, but instead gave them to me in compensation for buying a $15 484 with no box. of course i said "sure" and took them home. they arent mint condition, but what the heck. i think i figured out what two of them are for simply because i have the knives they should have came with (including the Gen 5 i bought awhile back), but im not 100% sure about the other two. anyone wanna clue me in on these?


ignore my dogs paws LOL...shes always interested in what im doing on the floor taking pics.

From left to right, I think you have sheaths for an Alpha Dorado and a 501. I'll keep trying to figure out the third from the left, then of course, the Gen-5.
 
thanks man, the one on the left really had me puzzled. i really have no need for em, but they were free so i wasnt gonna say no. i guess theyll just collect dust in the closet LOL. if anyone needs one i would be willing to let em go individually or even a package deal...maybe a trade?

my best guess as to why they were there in the first place is that folks buy a knife and then dont even bother with the sheath or box( typical famer/hunters around here, they buy em to use em and dont care about collecting). it seemed wierd to me that hed have em all with no knives to go with em.????

So now you'll have a sheath for your new 501 from the CS. They don't seem to come with one, at least it doesn't mention a sheath on the build page.

I could see that with a folder, but the fixed blades?

i ordered one of them also. i wanted to make sure i had a mint one with that knife.

im kinda puzzled about that myself. just doesnt make alotta sense, but like i said, i wasnt gonna say no thanks.
honestly i was thinking maybe someone here might want one for their edc knife that has a worn out sheath.
