Picked up this set. Nice. Didn't know they came together in one sheath pretty cool!

Yes, you just need to read more. Buck did 3 different Twin Sets. Yours is the model 117 called the Trophy Set. Look on the back of the sheath and see if there is a '117' stamped in it. A very good find. DM
 
Buck loosely used numbers in sequential order. Their pattern was to use a few numbers in order and skip a few. So, when they created new models they could go back and use those unused numbers. One of the knife's in your twin set is a model 116 the Caper. During that time frame they had a 118 & 119 so a model 117 followed the progression. DM
 
David, I recognized the 103 skinner, but was not sure of the second knife. Thank you for the information.
 
Its a 116 Caper, and it looks like the set was made between '72 and '84 based on the spacer configuration. They appear to be micarta and there are four spacers so the configuration fits into the time line.
